Public Image Limited's album titled "9" spinning on a VPI Super Scoutmaster Turntable.

About the turntable: Designed by Harry Weisfeld and manufactured in the United States, the Super Scoutmaster ("SSM") uses an outboard motor and flywheel to spin the record. The motor is controlled by a Synchronous Drive System which generates its own current (opposed to merely passing on the current from the socket) for speed stability. Surroudning the outer edges of the record is a Periphery Clamp coupling it more effectively to the platter and reducing the effects of warping. A 9" uni-pivot tonearm completes the package.

ISS030-E-017836 (27 Dec. 2011) --- Almost a week after first sighting in the night sky, Comet Lovejoy is visible to the six astronauts and cosmonauts currently aboard the International Space Station. An 85-mm focal length was used to record the image.

I've been working a couple of doors away from the forge in Glynde. Having driven passed it on many occasion but never popping in, this seemed a perfect opportunity. After getting the OK from Terry the blacksmith, I tried a few techniques, long exposure, multi and single shot HDR.
